Carbon Filtration
 One
of the most adsorbent materials known to man. Removes thousands
of potentially harmful chemicals, particularly those that are
carbon or hydrogen based. This includes volatile organic
compounds (VOCs), pesticides, arsenic, lead and other chemicals
that can be cancer causing. Also removes contaminants that cause
unpleasant taste, appearance and odor in tap water.
Models: All Liv Sure water filters except shower filter.
All of these models use the coconut shell type (the most
effective type), except for the Mini Faucet Filter, which uses
just standard activated carbon.
Reverse
Osmosis
 The
finest filtration technology available today. It is the most
common treatment technology used by first-rate bottled water
companies and the most effective in eliminating or substantially
reducing most types of contaminants. Reverse osmosis effectively
removes a wide variety of pollutants such as harmful chemicals,
micro-organisms and heavy metals/particles.
